Born 1985 in Innsbruck, Ursula Schachenhofer is a media artist working at the intersection between video art, performance and conceptual art. She graduated in 2012 from the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design, spending one semester in Metz, France during her studies. In her work, she is interested in how social conventions affect our thoughts and ways of life, especially in terms of the importance of being productive and the lack of spaces to relax that particularly affects bigger cities. Other topics in her work concern the perception of time and how our brain stores memories.
